Synopsis for "Centipede"

Oliver is a young happy-go-lucky elf who hangs out with his insect friends during the daytime: the Centipede, the Spider, the Flea, and the Scorpion. On his way home, though, an evil Wizard uses his Frightening Wand to turn a patch of mushrooms that Oliver's family is harvesting into toadstools. In fact, he's been doing that to a lot of the elves living in the village, and this gets them angry enough to join forces in order to overthrow the Wizard. However, the Wizard sees their approach and gleefully turns them into a patch of toadstools.

As the Wizard admires his evil handiwork, he spots Oliver working hard at cutting away the toadstools in his family's garden and decides to turn him into a toadstool. Sprouting bat wings, the Wizard chases after Oliver through the village, zapping and missing him. During the chase, the Wizard drops his Frightening Rod which Oliver picks up, only to find himself uncontrollably flying until he commands it to stop. Now safely on the ground, Oliver goes off to find his folks, unaware that the Wizard has turned them into toadstools along with the rest of the village.

The Wizard in his lair sees Oliver with the Frightening Rod and then goes to the young elf's insect friends with an offer of toadstools for capturing the boy and bringing him to the Wizard. When the insects refuse the offer, the Wizard hypnotizes them into going out and seeking after the boy. As they go out, the Centipede's tail section called 'Pede splits off from the body and warns Oliver that his insect friends are coming, and are under the spell of the Wizard.

Soon enough, Oliver and 'Pede see the insects coming and climb up a tree to escape them. Seeing that he still has the Wizard's Frightening Rod in his hand, Oliver uses it on the Spider, thinking about mushrooms, and sure enough, the Spider is zapped and turned into a mushroom. Oliver does the same to the Flea and the Scorpion with ease. However, the Centipede breaks off into multiple head sections when Oliver zaps his head, not stopping their approach. The Wizard comes onto the scene and dances joyfully over having Oliver right where he wants him -- until Oliver zaps the Wizard and lifts him high off the ground to confess what he had done to the insects and the villagers. Under Oliver's control, the Wizard frees the insects from his control as they are restored from being mushrooms. After Oliver turns the villagers-turned-mushrooms back into people, he uses the Frightening Rod to turn the Wizard from evil to friendly, ending his hostility forever. Everybody lives happily ever after, and the Centipede tail section becomes the new head of the merged Centipede.
