The Central City Citizen is a newspaper publisher founded, owned and ran by Iris West-Allen. It is located in Bentley Building in Central City. In Nora West-Allen's Future, it became a television station known as Central City Citizen Media.[6]
History
Arrowverse
In December 2019, Iris West founded a self-titled group of reporters working for The Central City Citizen called the Team Citizen; with Allegra Garcia and Kamilla Hwang, to investigate the Black Hole organization.[1]
On April 25, 2024, Iris wrote an article titled "Flash Missing, Vanishes in Crisis", detailing the Crisis on Infinite Earths with the Flash and Reverse-Flash that ultimately led to the Flash's disappearance in an explosion of light. After the Flashpoint Timeline, Julie Greer wrote the article instead of Iris, as Iris was killed by Savitar in 2017. When Savitar failed to kill Iris in the new timeline, the newspaper changed back to being written by Iris.[2][3][4]
DC Extended Universe
The Central City Citizen published an article titled "Henry Allen Convicted" after Nora Allen was apparently killed by her husband Henry Allen.[5]
