Ch'p was a member of the Green Lantern Corps originating from H'lven.

History

When Kanjar Ro used the Gamma Gong to freeze all the Humans of Earth, Ch'p's fellow corpsman John Stewart called him for help. Teaming-up with the Legion of Super-Pets, they were able to capture the alien conqueror, only for Ro to call upon an army of giant ants. Wonder Woman responded by having Beppo fly to the Super Friends Satellite and pick up Super-Gorilla Grodd's equipment to turn all humans in primates, and vice versa, allowing the Super Friends to help their animal compatriots defeat the army and imprison Kanjar Ro.
