Synopsis for "Saxon's Story"

A group of teens in Cambridge, Ohio use an occult ritual to summon Saxon from the other dimension where he has been trapped.[1] He asks the youth if they have seen a strange light and they claim that they have seen UFOs. Saxon kills two of them with his bare hands to help purify the world. He warns the third one not to dabble with things she does not understand and walks away.

In Chicago, he visits his sister Becky who is attending to their dying father in a hospital. The two have a brief argument and as he leaves, Saxon is accosted by a man named Daniels who is an admirer of his work. He leads him to a shopping mall after hours where the occult Eye of the Dark Flame meets. Daniels is convinced that Saxon represents the fulfillment of their prophecies. Their dark flame allows them to see the past, present, and future, including the plane crash that lead to the creation of the new Challengers of the Unknown—Saxon was also on the plane and survived. He was the only one who refused to look into the white light and has been set on a different path since the incident.

The shadow speaks

The shadow demon attached to Saxon

Saxon is disgusted by the cult and their prophecies. He has no desire to change or end the world: he fights to maintain the world order and starts slaughtering the cult members. One of them is his sister Becky, whom he strangles to death. He allows Daniels to live so that he can tell all other cult members that Saxon is not their messiah. As he walks away from the flame, a shadow demon follows behind him, saying that even Saxon doesn't realize his true nature.
