Challengerville was a small town named Hadley until the Challengers of the Unknown constructed Challengers Mountain.
History
The Challengers presence transformed the town into a tourist destination and the town's economy was revitalized by accommodating the new attraction.[1] When Challengers Mountain was blown up due to the actions of a saboteur and the influence of demon N'Zrath on one of Prof's experiments, the town was devastated. Hundreds of residents were killed in the explosion.[2] The explosion created a tear in reality that allowed N'Zrath the further influence Earth from his dimension. He mind-controlled many of the remaining citizens into gathering at the mountain and engaging in orgies and occult rituals until the Challengers intervened.[3]
