Charles McNider is Doctor Mid-Nite, who is a former member of the Justice Society of America.
History
During the Golden Age of superheroes in the 1940s, Doctor Mid-Nite fought with the Justice Society against Nazi cultists[1] and the villain Solomon Grundy.[2] He was a member of the team when it was forcibly disbanded by the United States Government in 1951, provided his medical expertise to its revived incarnation in 1976,[3] and joined them in battle with Extant.[4]

- Charles McNider was created by Charles Reizenstein and Stan Aschmeier, first appearing in All-American Comics #25. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Charles McNider first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Infinite Frontier #0 by James Tynion IV and Stephen Byrne.
