Chase #4 is an issue of the series Chase (Volume 1) with a cover date of May, 1998.
Synopsis for "Weep for the Future"
The Clock King recruits four super-powered agents and unites them as his own super-hero team, the Clockwatchers. The team consists of Acidia, Sharpe, Charge and Radiant. He plans to attack a public appearance of the Teen Titans at L.L. Siegel and Shuster Toys in Metropolis.
Meanwhile, Cameron Chase meets Director Bones – the administrator for the Northeastern region of the DEO. Bones compliments her on her recent work in Peru, but places her in charge of observing and (in effect) babysitting the Teen Titans. While scouting out the toy store, Cameron runs into Peter Rice, Knob and her sister, Terry.
The Clockwatchers attack the toy store, but quickly discover that the Teen Titans are not the only heroes present. Also in attendance are Booster Gold and Firehawk. A massive fight breaks out, and Chase tries to protect the nearby civilians. Although the assembled heroes are more than adequate for the task, Chase unwittingly lends them a hand, as she produces another flash of light, which temporarily negates the Clockwatchers super-powers. The feat takes its toll on Cameron however, and she falls over gravely injured.
