In the early 1940s, popular radio telecaster Chase Yale adopted the patriotic secret identity of Commando Yank to fight the Nazis during WWII.
History
For part of this time, he led a squad of British Commandos. After the war, Yale worked as a roving telecaster, making reports from the four corners of the Earth.
Chase Yale might be from New York City, or he might be from Chicago.[1]
