Synopsis for "The Janus Directive, Part 5: A Hard Day's Knight"

Checkmate operatives all across the planet are attacked by the ninjas of the Kobra Cult including ones in Florida, South Africa, Qurac, and France.

Checkmate needs a new base after Koning Industriies was destroyed so they ecide to use a base in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

In New Orleans, Louisiana, Val Vostock, Black Thorn, and Knight (John Reed) track down a computer expert (Mr. Wellsley) that works for Belle Reve. The team extorts the location of Amanda Waller. As he is doing this, the Kobra Cult’s “Blackadder” Ninjas attack and they kill him and try to kill the team. They escape.

In Space, the Kobra Cult activate their spaceship’s Cloaking Device which makes them invisible visually and technologically.

At Liberty State Park, New Jersey, General Eiling and Harry Stein meet for the truce Black Thorn extorted Gen. Eiling into. Harry Stein gives his assumptions of what is happening. He believes Amanda Waller, Babylon, and Dr. Megala were replaced by an unknown party. The two agree to work together.

Peacemaker left Checkmate to find Major Force. Peacemaker finds the last known safehouse of the Atom Project. He only finds Black Thorn and a checkmate Knight who tell him Checkmate and the Atom Project are working together. Peacemaker is adamant about Major Force being an enemy and then the Blackadders attack the group. The three evacuate using Peacemaker’s jetpack and Peacemaker uses the cybernetic controls to use his helicopter’s missile and blow up the building will all of the Blackadders inside.
