Cherie Chase was the mother of Titans member Danny Chase.
History
She and her husband John Chase were agents for the Central Bureau of Investigation under King Faraday and trained their son to follow in their footsteps.
Cherie and John were once kidnapped by the international mercenary Godiva, but were rescued by their son and the Titans.[1] Later, while working under Sarge Steel, John and Cherie uncovered the Janus Directive, leading to an internal war between Checkmate, the Suicide Squad, and the Captain Atom Project. The two of them were captured by the Directive's mastermind, Kobra.[2] They were tortured by Kobra's forces, but were rescued when the Squad, Checkmate, and their superhero allies defeated the villain.[3]
