Chic Novelle is the sister of Mayor Rita Novelle of Triboro City.
History
Chic Novelle is an admirer of Selldom Wright's investigative reporting, though she is less than impressed with the way he talks about and to women. When the Blue Seal Gang attempted to assassinate her sister Rita, she passed along what information she knew to Selldom since he had been writing stories on the criminal organization.
When Selldom failed to take her seriously and Rita ended up abducted by the gang, the police were quick to throw in the towel so Chic took over investigating them herself. Alongside Wonder Woman, she located the gang's headquarters and rescued Rita and Selldom.

- Investigation
- Criminology: Rita was able to intuit that a lead Selldom thought he'd lucked into was a trap crafted by the Blue Seal Gang, and find their hidden hideout even after the police had deemed the building it was in to be a dead end.
- Hand-to-Hand Combat (Basic)
- Firearms: Rita is competent with firearm saftey and was able to use a pair of pistols taken from the Blue Seal Gang to help subdue them.
