Chogar was a member of the Green Lantern Corps.
History
Chogar of Tyrea was one of 13 Lanterns killed by a conglomerate of escaped inmates from a Prison Planet.The remaining Green Lanterns avenged the fallen soldier by stopping the criminals.[1]
Years later, Chogar was resurrected as a member of the Black Lantern Corps during the Blackest Night.[2]

- Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985–86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
Trivia
- Chogar was initially only mentioned in Green Lantern (Volume 2) #55. He was first shown as a memorial in the Crypts of the Green Lantern Corps in Green Lantern/Sinestro Corps Secret Files and Origins #1.
