Professional History
Chris Evans is an American actor who first gained attention for his performance as Jake Wyler in Not Another Teen Movie, and later his role as the Human Torch in Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. His greatest success came with his portrayal of Steve Rogers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, beginning with Captain America: The First Avenger, and appearing across ten films in total, ending with Avengers: Endgame.
Evans has starred in several other comic book adaptations, superhero and otherwise, appearing as Casey Jones in TMNT, Lucas Lee in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, Jake Jensen in The Losers, and Curtis Everett in Snowpiercer. Outside of comic adaptations, Evans has appeared in high-profile films and series such as Knives Out, Defending Jacob, The Gray Man, and Lightyear.
