Christopher Jones (b. October 14, 1969) is a writer.

Professional History

Chris has written and drawn comics for DC, Marvel, IDW, Titan, and other major publishers.

His most notable DC Comics work includes various iterations of Young Justice (based on the popular animated TV series), The Batman Strikes, Justice League Unlimited and Batman '66. His work for Marvel includes Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Marvel Superhero Squad, and Marvel Action: Spider-man. He has also drawn a number of Doctor Who projects for Titan Comics, including The Third Doctor: Heralds of Destruction, The Seventh Doctor: Operation Volcano, and Once Upon a Time Lord, in addition to many covers.

Currently Chris lives in the Los Angeles area where he works as a Storyboard Artist, having worked on series including Young Justice, Harley Quinn, and Kite Man, Hell Yeah!

Personal History

A Minnesota native, Chris currently lives in the Los Angeles area.

In addition to his comics work, Chief Creative Officer for CONvergence, the largest fan-run science fiction convention in the MidWest. Chris co-founded the convention in 1998, and served on the parent organization's Board of Directors for the first 14 years of its life, and has created a wealth of artwork for organization, most of which features the convention mascot Connie which Chris also created.

Chris has written and performed in a number of comedy sketches, at the Minnesota Fringe Festival and for various Minneapolis comedy shows including Vilificaiton Tennis, Ka-baam!, and The Scrimshaw Show.

Chris' first published comics work was a weekly full-page superhero comic titled "Mister Muscle" that appeared in his local newspaper that we wrote and drew at age 10.
