Christopher Priest is an American comic book writer and editor. He started his career in 1982 at the age of 21 working as an editor for Marvel Comics on the Conan titles. Afterwards he worked on some of Marvel's most notable titles. Priest eventually started working for DC Comics in 1988 and he worked on various titles including Action Comics (Volume 1), Batman (Volume ) and most notably Green Lantern: Emerald Dawn, which was a retelling of Green Lantern's origin for the new continuity. For the most part of the 90s and 2000s, Priest worked for small imprints and other publishers and most recently, he has worked for DC on the Rebirth event, specifically on the title Deathstroke (Volume 4). Quite often, he is credited simply as Priest with no first name, so he will not be confused with science fiction novelist Christopher Priest.
