Circe serves as mentor for magic-based villains and gives them unique missions.
History
While she is the archenemy of Wonder Woman, who she has clashed against many times, the two are forced to work together in several momentous situations, including beating back Brainiac's incursion into the Shadowlands, stopping the Trigon from breaking free of his prison, and reclaiming Olympus from Typhon along with the Olympian gods.
