Citizen Wayne is the name of two different unrelated Elseworlds stories featuring variations on the Batman mythos, as told in the style of the movie Citizen Kane. Mark Waid and Brian Augustyn used the film as inspiration for their Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight Annual #4 in 1994, featuring the artwork of Joe Staton. Brian Michael Bendis later wrote a similar short story for Batman Chronicles #21 in 2000, with the artwork of Michael Gaydos. They are each very different takes on the same idea.
