"Carnie" Calahan was the barker at Colonel Lane's Mammoth Circus.

History

In the mid-1940s, Clarence "Carnie" Calahan joined the circus, along with his roommates Tiny the strongman, Lena the fat lady, and Major Midge the midget.

The quick-witted, two-fisted Calahan was extremely protective of the business, and his friends, and would always investigate any source of trouble, which at Colonel Lane's Mammoth Circus, was often criminal in origin.
