Cliff Steele is Robotman, a member of the Doom Patrol in the year 2031.

History

Sometime between 2019 and 2031, Robotman lost control of his conditional upgrade system and upgraded to the size of a planet, becoming Planet Cliff. His upgrade mechanic was absorbed by Mento, wiping Cliff's memory of the event, and forcing Mento's helmet to create the inescapable city of Goliath.

In the year 2031, Cliff and the Doom Patrol discovered Mento, but, upon realizing the past was bound to repeat itself, Mento went back in time to stop it.
