Clinging Vine was an enemy of Bulletgirl.
History
Clinging Vine's brother was a botanist who used a clinging vine from the Amazon Rainforest. When he was shot by police, his sister continued his legacy. Posing as a flower girl, she offered a clinging vine and then sprayed perfume on it, causing it to grow and entangle the victim. She would then rob them, either on her own or with her brutish henchwoman Hilda.
One of her targets was Susan Kent. Her fiancé, Jim Barr, wouldn't hit a girl, but allowed Susan to escape. As he was pummeled by Hilda, Susan changed into her Bulletgirl outfit and clocked the two. They escaped, and Jim left this case to his partner, feeling it was beneath him.
As Bulletgirl had dropped a handkerchief, Clinging Vine was able to nab her with bloodhound vines, which brought Bulletgirl and several other citizens to their hide-out. Clinging Vine prepared a trap that would tear Bulletgirl apart. The heroine was able to activate the sprinklers, which drowned the plants, and made short work of the two crooks. Captured by her own vines, she was left for police to arrest.
