Cobra was a pirate with world-scale ambitions and a fleet of stolen warships, until she clashed with the Blackhawks.
History
In 1948 a pirate commander calling herself "Cobra" stole an entire fleet of retired warships and concealed them under a seemingly-barren rock island in the Atlantic Ocean. The Blackhawk Squadron detected the stolen fleet's passage, and followed it to the Cobra's base. Cobra's fleet was moored in a catacomb under her island, until the Blackhawks destroyed the entrance to these tunnels. Survival prospects of the fleet, and of Cobra herself, are ambiguous.

- Animal Training Cobra could handle live cobras with her bare hands, with deadly effect.
- Leadership Cobra commanded a large crew of pirates, enough to crew a large number of stolen warships.

Enemy of the Blackhawks
- The pirate Cobra is not known to be affiliated with the renegade Communist air-raider King Cobra or with the Nazi war-criminal King Cobra.
