Synopsis for Wonder Woman: "The Cheetah Returns"

After a proving to be a model prisoner Priscilla Rich has her Venus Girdle removed by Mala, however not long after Priscilla sees a paper mentioning that her cousin Claudia has moved into her house and becomea famous dancer. Her subsequent feelings of inadequacy trigger her 'Cheetah' personality to resurface and she sneaks aboard Wonder Woman's invisible plane in order to escape Reformation Island. While Wonder Woman finds Cheetah and sends her to prison Priscilla is able to easily escape by seducing the card. Taking the place of her cousin she manages to kidnap Steve Trevor and Wonder Woman, placing the later in a Venus Girdle that compels Wonder Woman to obey the Cheetah.

Using the Girdle, the Cheetah forces Wonder Woman on to a tightrope whilst holding the unconscious bodies of Steve and Claudia over her shoulders. Cheetah soon activates the trap which sets the wire alight and threatens to eventually burn Wonder Woman and her allies alive but Etta Candy arrives just in time to chuck Wonder Woman the key to her girdle allowing her to disobey Cheetah's orders and jump out of the trap. Now free, Wonder Woman easily apprehends Priscilla who is despondent about once more succumbing to the Cheetah's urges but Wonder Woman nevertheless encourages her to keep trying to be better. Witnessing how the power of her Venus Girdles could be abused, Aphrdoite sets a new rule on their magic that means the wearer must only submit to commands if they come from a 'loving authority'.

Synopsis for Green Lantern: "Two Characters in Search of a Brain"

A group of gangsters carry out a bank robbery devised by a mastermind they call "the Brain". They try to escape by hijacking a car, only to find out it's Doiby's cab. He unleashes his fists on the gangsters, but in the confusion of the melee most of them manage to get away in his cab after all. Two unassuming members called Mike and Ike take "the Brain's" cut out of the crime's proceeds, but the rest of the gang is unsatisfied with this and demand to see the Brain in person, since they've only ever had his orders relayed by Mike and Ike. Because, as the two remind each other in private, there is no "Brain". They made up a criminal genius to get other crooks to listen to them.

Doiby meets up with Green Lantern and they follow an automatic signal rocket to where Goitrude's been taken. The heroes burst into the magic shop the gang's using as a hideout, but in the course of the brawl Doiby falls headfirst into a glass case and Green Lantern leaves to get him medical attention. Meanwhile, Mike and Ike have come up with a plan: they'll steal a body from a hospital they can pretend is the Brain, and say Green Lantern killed him. They have the bad fortune of trying to steal the body from the room that happens to be occupied by Doiby, who recognizes them and starts throwing punches. The rest of the gang catches up to Mike and Ike and the fight spills into a children's playground, where GL's knocked out by a wooden see-saw. The gang sets them in a deathtrap of a building doused with gasoline and a candle balanced precariously on a chair. GL and Doiby manage to escape, then catch the criminals.
