Congorilla is an enchanted gorilla with a range of abilities from Congo, Africa. When the explorer and adventurer William Glenmorgan is given a magic ring by his friend Kawolo, he gains the ability to transfer his consciousness into Congorilla's body and control it as his own. Congorilla was created by Robert Bernstein and Howard Sherman, first appearing in Action Comics #248 (1959).
