- Despite the cliffhanger, this is the final episode of Constantine.
- The Rising Darkness storyline is eventually concluded off-screen as John was able to defeat Manny.
- Years later, the demon Neron will try to complete Manny's plan but his attempt will be foiled once again by John and his new team, the Legends of Tomorrow.[1]

- The title and the events of this episode are mainly inspired by Hellblazer #4.
