Copper was the leader of Dr. Lace's All-New Metal Men, and the only one to survive. Many people noted the physical similariy between Copper and Dr. Lace, which the duo neither liked or saw themselves.

- Copper was created by Mark Verheiden and Pat Lee, first appearing in Superman/Batman #34. However, Copper first appeared as part of Prime Earth continuity in Legends of Tomorrow #4 by Len Wein and Yildiray Cinar.
