Corine is the information gatherer of Ears Fellock's Blackmail Gang.

History

Corine is a gun moll who discovered she looked identical to the wealthy young widow Margo Vandergilt and built a scheme based around pretending to be Margo and seducing military men while gathering scraps of what they'd said until they mentioned something incriminating or classified. She'd then pass this information along to Ears Fellock for him to blackmail the young men out of their savings. All the while Corine lived as Margo and kept the real Margo as her captive, forcing her to act as Corine's maid while locked in a brace that would allow Corine to immobilize her. When Corine's latest target, Steve Trevor, dated her for a while without giving her anything to use the two ended up in a serious enough relationship that they were engaged while Steve was still not aware of Corine's true identity. Wonder Woman become increasingly suspicious of "Margo" and learned she was behind the targeting of one of the Blackmail Gang's victims on the day Corine was to marry Steve. After Corine's deception and part in the Blackmail Gang was revealed she was arrested and Steve ended their relationship.
