Synopsis for "Coup d'Etat Part 2: Of, By and For The People"

In Romania, a would-be dictator known as Baron Chaos launched a coup in which he captured Hungarian President Gzorny and took him to Bran Castle. Stormwatch intervenes and battle Chaos until Avi Barak uses his psychic powers to trick Chaos that he had won, allowing Santini to punch him out.

Just as Stormwatch prepares to take away Chaos they learn the news about the Authority's planned takeover of the United States. Realizing that the Authority will very likely shut down Stormwatch by force since the latter will see the Authority's coup a superhuman threat, Santini begins ordering his teammates to evacuate their HQ and cleaning everything up - including the execution of their super-terrorist prisoner Hamat - before destroying the base.

Thereafter, Santini offers his teammates the chance to leave Stormwatch and escape from the Authority since Stormwatch is now considered rogue; Santini will continue his mission to oust the Authority from America. However, everyone decided to stay together. Santini takes his team underground, preparing to fight back against the Authority. Before leaving, Santini executes Baron Chaos (who is removed of his armor except his helmet hiding his very deformed face) as Stormwatch cannot turn him over to the Hague in person.

The Authority later arrives at the castle and finds Chaos, who is still alive. Unaware of the Baron's actions, they mistake Chaos for an innocent man who suffered under the hands of Santini, whom Hawksmoor swears to bring in Santini and Stormwatch to justice.
