Synopsis for The Clock: "Gun + Killer + Victim = Murder"
Joe Doe gets gunned down by a stick-up robber. Butch witnesses the murder and follows the killer to his home, then calls in the Clock. The killer tries to get rough with Butch, but that goes badly for him, and gets noisy, which draws in the Clock, who punches him out.

- This issue is the final golden age appearance of the Black Condor.
- In Captain Triumph, Kim gets kidnapped. She also gets slapped around, a lot, by the villain. She also gets head-konked unconscious, with a pistol butt.
- The Clock has gone back to wearing a Spirit-style domino mask.

- At first, in Crack Comics #28, Al was unaware of Inkie's existence, but in this issue, they converse.
