Curtis Angstrom was a supervillain known as the Alchemist who used a replica of the Philosopher's Stone to plague the Flash (Wally West) in imitation of Doctor Alchemy (Albert Desmond).

- Alchemist was created by Mark Waid and Greg LaRocque, first appearing in The Flash (Volume 2) #71. However, Alchemist first appeared as part of Prime Earth continuity in The Flash (Volume 6) #26 by Mark Waid, Christopher Cantwell, and Vasco Georgiev.
- The Pre-Flashpoint version was named Engstrom, rather than Angstrom.
