Solomon Grundy is an undead super-villain, a member of the Legion of Doom and an enemy to the Justice League.
History
Grundy and the remainder members of the Legion sneaked into the Hall of Justice disguised as ghosts to catch the League off guard. Lex Luthor's plan worked and the Justice League was shrunk and trapped by Brainiac, but Supergirl managed to take several teenagers, who the Legion of Doom mistakenly believed to be junior Leaguers, to safety. The Legion catched up with them, and Supergirl tackled Grundy head on. Not knowing who she was up against, and surprised by the "ghost"'s unexpected strength, Supergirl was overpowered and trapped before she was able to fight back.
Grundy and several more Leaguers chased after the kids, but one of the detectives tricked Bizarro into attacking them. The Legion catched up again with them, but the Justice League broke free right on time and attacked the Legion. Superman took Grundy down, and he and his teammates were turned over to the authorities.
