- Dzamor was created by Bob Haney and Howard Purcell, first appearing in Strange Adventures #187. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Dzamor first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Superman and the Authority #2 by Grant Morrison and Travel Foreman.
