Synopsis for Batgirl in "What Kind of Hero?"
In July 1985, during the Crisis on Infinite Earths, Batgirl observes Gotham City, which is unusualy calm. It's the end of the world and it seems that even criminals choosed to stay at home. Batgirl wonders what kind of hero is she while the world ends. She suddenly hear a scream and race toward it.
She encounter a little girl who tell her a monster is in the basement with her parents. Batgirl rush to it and discover the monster is none other than Killer Croc. After a brief fight, Killer Croc escape, taking the little girl plush Krypto with him. Batgirl track him into the sewer. Croc ambush her but she quickly manage to defeat him.
When the little girl arrive, Batgirl yell at her to go to safety, as the ceiling is collapsing, but to late, the girl is buried under the rocks. Batgirl watch hopelessly, complaining about her inability to rescue one single child when Croc resurface from the debris, having protected the little girl.
Croc confess he didn't mean trouble but was looking for somewhere safe. Realizing Croc just doesn't want to die alone, Batgirl take him in her arms while the ceiling finish to colapse.
