Trivia

  • The title of the episode is a reference to the post-apocalyptic, zombie-based movie, I Am Legend.
    • The Time Bureau Safehouse is masqueraded as "Neville's Tavern" which is a nod to Robert Neville, the main character of I Am Legend.
  • Gary Green breaks the Fourth Wall by saying that he and Gideon should have a spin-off for themselves.
  • Gary Green hitting on Gideon's illusion foreshadows their future relationship from Season 7.
  • The English Zombie Apocalypse is a homage to the zombie-themed movie, 28 Days Later, which is also set in a post-apocalyptic England, as well as the London-based zombie movie, Shaun of the Dead, whose ending also involves a pub.
  • Mick Rory references being stuck in a military truck in The Flash episode, "Revenge of the Rogues".
  • The English woman saying to her husband, "Don't stop, Wilbur", after seeing the Legend is a homage to a similar scene the movie, Back to the Future, where a couple from 1955 escapes after seeing a time-displaced Marty McFly.
