Notes
- The Legends triggering Davies' Time Machine creates an alternate timeline where Gwyn Davies didn't discover Time Travel.
- In this timeline, Ava Sharpe and Gary Green never became Legends because the Time Bereau was never created by Rip Hunter.
- The Legends still existing in this timeline could imply that Time Travel was somehow discovered by somebody else.
- The Legends restore the ("altered") timeline by allowing Gwyn Davies to "invent" Time Travel.
- However, Davies was supposed to die in the original (unaltered) timeline of Earth-Prime but the Legends prevent him from dying in the explosion of his Time Machine.
Trivia
- The title of the episode is a pun on the moive It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.
- The Legends mentions that Gwyn Davies looks similar to many of their former comrades, including Ray Palmer, Mick Rory and Martin Stein. This is obviously a reference to Davies being portrayed by Matt Ryan who has previously portrayed one of the Legends, John Constantine.
- Ava jokes about "coming from Canada" which is both a nod to herself being born in Canada in her original future and DC's Legends of Tomorrow being shot in Vancouver.
- Thomas Edison mentions the popular exclamation "Great Scott" before dying which is a nod to the popular catchphrase of Doc Brown from Back to the Future.
