Trivia
- The title of this episode is a play on the usual format of the title of Friends episodes, which always begins with "The One...".
- The following shows are parodied on this episode: Friends (as Ultimate Buds), Downton Abbey (as Highcastle Abbey), Star Trek: The Original Series (as Star Trip), & Mister Rogers' Neighborhood (as Mr. Parker's Cul-de-Sac). In addition, the world in which the Fates created is heavily based on George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four.
- On Ultimate Buds, Nate mentions getting the part as Robin Hood in a production of Arrow taking place in Star City. This is a nod to both the real life show Arrow and how Green Arrow is often compared to Robin Hood.
