Broadcast date[]

Shouldn't there be a {{{DATE}}} field for what day of the month it aired? Four or five can air in the same month. I'd try to add the field myself, but the existing template code looks really, really involved and I don't want to mess it up. --Fleb 02:11, 12 January 2009 (UTC) ...Never mind, figured it out, I think. Broken?[]

Something's gone wrong with this template. It was fine two weeks ago, and it hasn't even been edited, but now it's throwing up {{#if into pages. It's messing up somewhere around these lines:

{{#if: {{{StoryTitle1|}}} |
=={{{Appearing1Header|Appearing in {{{StoryTitle1}}} }}}== | =={{{Appearing1Header|Appearing in this Episode}}}== }}
{{#if: {{{Appearing1|}}} | {{{Appearing1}}} | * Appearances not yet listed}}
<!---END STORY 1 APPEARANCES---><!---BEGIN STORY 1 SYNOPSIS--->
{{#if: {{{StoryTitle1|}}}|
=={{{Synopsis1Header|Synopsis for {{{StoryTitle1}}} }}}==
|
=={{{Synopsis1Header|Synopsis}}}== }}

And putting out stuff like this:

{{#if: Fall of the Blue Beetle! | ==Appearing in Fall of the Blue Beetle! == | ==Appearing in this Episode== }} Featured Characters:

[...]

{{#if: Fall of the Blue Beetle!|

Synopsis for Fall of the Blue Beetle!

| ==Synopsis== }}

Weird. --Fleb 18:54, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

It's a Wikia thing. They've been making upgrades that have been throwing some of the more complex templates into chaos. I'm seeing similar bugs on comic issue and staff pages. Hopefully it'll just iron itself out. --Brian Kurtz 19:30, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Open Bracket[]

The See Also category has an open bracket. The one that resembles this above Cast:
{{#if: {{{Character1|}}} |
--BrawnyOak 07:46, October 13, 2019 (UTC)

Overview[]

Added an automatic overview, finally. Some notes:

  • I've tested it on ~25 pages, seems to work, at least, not break anything.
  • Some episodes have a space between series and period, need to check that out. Not really a priority as it's purely cosmetic.
  • Need to add some sort of override for single shorts and failed pilots.
  • Need to add a switch so iZombie gets a lowercase i but that's just pedantry.

If you find any other issues, please report them. --Tupka217 09:19, October 4, 2020 (UTC)

Acknowledging the Actors[]

Shouldn't the infoboxes provide links to the actors as well as the directors, producers, and writers--ThunderBrine (talk; blog; contributions; activity) 05:14, 10 March 2024 (UTC)

There are fields for a cast list (Character1, Actor1 etc), they're just rarely used and it's probably still a shitty table unchanged since 2008.--Tupka217 (talk) 09:07, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
I mean in normal view. You can input actor data, but the actors won't show up on the infobox. The developer, producers, and writers show up, but not actors.--ThunderBrine (talk; blog; contributions; activity) 19:20, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
The actors and their roles show up in a table at the bottom. That's not something that should be put in the infobox. --Tupka217 (talk) 19:33, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
But then why are there certain actors that are orphaned pages? I decides to visit an episode that featured these actors, but only the characters they portray are non-orphaned, but not themselves. --ThunderBrine (talk; blog; contributions; activity)
Like I said, it's rarely used. --Tupka217 (talk) 21:16, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
