- This free digital comic is one of the "sneak peeks" published in May 2015 to promote DC's June 2015 Post-Convergence lineup. Most of the sneak peeks were also published in the print issues of the Convergence tie-in miniseries released in May 2015. This issue, however, was only released in a digital edition. The story leads into the events of Justice League United #11.
- Although Static appears on the cover, he does not actually appear in this story.
- Despite the story, all of the characters that the team planned (expect for Swamp Thing, Poison Ivy, Batgirl, Steel, Robotman, Etrigan, and Vandal Savage) wouldn't join the Justice League United later on.
