Synopsis for "Chapter Five"

Jon arrives back at the Fortress of Solitude after being contacted by Cassie and explains he was late because busy snapping all the internet lines in Ireland along with his father. Cassie informs him that Damian has stolen Wonder Woman's Invisible Plane and both chide him for stealing it after making him stop. Damian states that he's looking for his mother and thinks she is in Gotham City and refuses to return without her. The two agree to let him investigate, but insist they'll accompany him.

As they enter Gotham's airspace, Damian tells Jon and Cassie that he and Batman were tracking Talia, before the Anti-Living Kite Man hits the Invisible Jet's windshield. As the dead Kite Man is dragged along the jet before falling, Jon and Cassie start laughing. After landing his jet, Damian explains that he and Batman had been tracking Talia ever since they learnt she was coming to assassinate the city's mayor. When Cassie feels confused, Damian states that she's a member of the League of Assassins and daughter of Ra's al Ghul.

Damian reveals that he's infiltrating the Gotham Bank because it's the main safe house of the League of Assassins and after finding it filled with the Anti-Living, states that Talia must be hiding in the panic room if she survived. Cassie tells him to hang back, but he instead charges the horde all by himself with Jon and her soon joining in the fight. After entering the panic room, all Jon finds is a wall he can't see through, before Cassie tears it apart and they come upon the room Talia is hiding in.

The three teen heroes find that Talia has murdered all the Anti-Living and she dislikes Jon at first site of his good nature. She soon realizes that Bruce Wayne is dead after seeing Damian is wearing the Batsuit and is offered to accompany the three to the Batcave. Later at Bruce's lair, they find they find that Batman has been buried alongside Nightwing and Tim Drake by someone, with Talia realizing that Jason Todd was behind it. Jon spots that someone's hiding behind Batman's T-Rex and discover that it's Stephanie Brown, who states she was looking for Bruce.

Steph consoles Damian and states it's okay to grieve for his loss. As he cries, Talia blames his father for softening him, which angers Jon and Cassie. Damian however breaks them, stating she did love Bruce and was trying to pick fights to take out her frustration. As he tells them all that to head back to the Fortress of Solitude, Stephanie dons the Robin costume amd tells him that he'll need a Robin to enlighten his life, now that he's Batman.
