Synopsis for "Same as It Ever Was"
Grifter reveals to Powerhaus that Colby called in a favor and sent him to stop Hector. When Hector explains he needs access to IO files, Cash offers to sneak into IO and help him gain access there. Once inside, they fight their way past guards to I-Core, the IO interface core, but neither of them has the proper access codes. Fortunately, Sideways Bob arrives, having heard the commotion, and lets them use his. After Bob leaves, Hector uses the system to identify the woman he recognized and learns she was a clone. He then finds his own name in a list of clones. Hector has an emotional breakdown over this revelation as Grifter takes him back to his quarters. Cash tries to console him, but Hector just asks him to leave. Later, Grifter argues with Colby over the situation and ultimately punches him out. Frustrated at his inability to help Powerhaus and disgusted with IO, Grifter leaves.
