Synopsis for "Slipstream: New Horizons"

At IO, DV8 field leader Caitlin Fairchild recalls her journey from Princeton University to IO as she walks to a meeting with Director Ivana Baiul.  She finds her father Alex waiting for her, and they argue over his absence during her childhood and her devotion to the team.  In the gym, Freestyle meets Frank Colby, but he does not know her.  After Caitlin leaves the meeting, Ivana offers to let Alex retire if he kills John Lynch.  Caitlin finds her boyfriend Frostbite hungover and joins him in the shower.  In her quarters, Bliss senses a psychic invitation from Threshold.  Later, Fairchild reviews the team's recent mission to Yurgovia, Threshold's betrayal, and their extraction of a deep cover agent.  The agent has revealed the existence of a powerful energy source in Yurgovia, and DV8 is going back to investigate.  On the flight over, Caitlin confides in Frostbite that she suspects Threshold read the agent's mind while Freestyle has a vision of her DV8's mission to Yurgovia.  When Evo makes her uncomfortable, she runs to the restroom and is horrified to learn from Caitlin that, in this timeline, she is pregnant with Evo's child.  Hours later, the team arrives in Yurgovia and breaks into the facility where the energy source is located, but all they find is an empty room.  Suddenly, Gen 13 enters—led by Sublime.
