- — Copycat
DV8 #5 is an issue of the series DV8 (Volume 1) with a cover date of February, 1997.
Synopsis for "Isolation"
On Baiul's orders, Threshold leads DV8 in raiding a Japanese military facility that is developing teleportation technology for Stormwatch. They fight their way inside through armed and armored security personnel. Copycat steps on a teleplate, a piece of floor wired as a teleportation device, and vanishes, finding herself trapped in a featureless white void. Threshold orders the team to leave her behind, but they refuse and subdue him. Powerhaus then uses his powers to sense Copycat's location, and they find her captive in a virtual reality simulation. Powerhaus frees her, but she attacks him because isolation in virtual reality was causing her multiple personalities to begin integrating. Sublime knocks her out and orders everyone back to their helicopter.
