Synopsis for "Shades"

DV8 is staying inside the penthouse due to a torrential rainstorm.  When they complain of boredom, Sideways Bob tells them about his past as an IO operative.  In the 1980s, Miles Craven sent him and two other agents to retrieve an IO scientist from a Miami hotel.  Upon their arrival, a mysterious woman in sunglasses killed the two agents and the scientist.  Believing they had been set up, Bob tortured and killed his own team for information but uncovered nothing.  On his next mission, Bob stormed a Louisiana church to obtain an item, but the woman in sunglasses had beaten him to it.  Craven ordered him to find and kill her.  He lured her into a trap and attacked.  She responded by shooting out his eye with a laser.  The two fought hand to hand until Bob subdued her and brought her to Craven. Craven revealed Bob had just made him lose a bet with John Lynch to decide whether IO would hire the woman. Craven decides to hire her anyway and introduces her as Bob’s new immediate superior, Ivana Baiul.  Just then, Baiul returns to the penthouse with Threshold, orders DV8 to bed, and gives Bob a warning.
