Dan Adkins (b. March 15, 1937 – d.May 2013) was a writer.
Professional History
Dan Adkins was an American comic book artist and illustrator. He began his career in 1965 working for Golden Key in the title Total War. In 1967 Adkins was hired by Marvel Comics to work in the Uncanny X-Men and Tales of Suspense among many other iconic titles. His first published work for DC Comics was in 1970 in the title Green Lantern. Later on he worked in titles like Superman, The Witching Hour and many more.
As he did for most of his career, Adkins' last works were solely for Marvel Comics.
Personal History
Dan Adkins was born in West Virginia. Adkins died May 3, 2013, at age 76.
