Danny Matthews was a teen living on the streets with his boyfriend Todd Rice.

History

Danny was living on the streets of Civic City with his boyfriend Todd when Todd was found and taken to the home for troubled youth Helix. He was using a closed restaurant where a table was set with candles for their dinner together to celebrate Todd's birthday, but, when Todd's powers first manifested at that moment, he told Danny to run away when the police arrived, which Danny reluctantly did.

Danny had bought Todd two bus tickets as a birthday gift for them to go together looking for Todd's sister, Jennie, but the events that transpired forced the two to separate.

• This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the television series Stargirl and is an adaptation of Damon Matthews. The original character was created by Marc Andreyko and Jesus Saiz and first appeared in Manhunter (Volume 3) #1.
• Danny Matthews was portrayed by Eddie Falshaw.
