Daniel "Dan" Scardino was an agent of the DEA, whose partner was killed by Sean Macarthy.

History

Following the murder of Mayson Drake, Scardino made his way to Metropolis, looking for Macarthy (then believed to be dead) and became aquinted with Clark Kent and Lois Lane.

Scardino fell for Lois and attempted to enter into a relationship with her. However, the mix of DEA agent and reporter quickly proved problematic. Due to her job, Scardino could never tell Lois about his day. This caused Lois to grow insecure, before finally confronting Scardino, while he was in the middle of an undercover mission. Scardino's cover was blown and he became targeted by an Intergang assassin. He survived, thanks to Superman, but Scardino's relationship with Lois was over.
