Dark Horse Comics was founded in 1986 by Mike Richardson, and is one of America's leading comics publishers behind DC Comics and Marvel.
History
Although it has many of its own titles, it is notable for producing many creator-owned franchises, such as Frank Miller's Sin City and 300, Mike Mignola's Hellboy and Michael Chabon's The Escapist.
