Synopsis for "War"
Cassandra, the Robin assigned to spy on Hippolyta's court, frees Kal-El from his cell. She tells him that the Amazons want peace as much as he does and asks him to return home and stop the war. She gives him the magic rope he was bound with so he can bring truth to all sides.
At the Castle of El the Amazon army try to attack Lara, but she flies up out of their reach. Kal-El reaches the Castle and asks Lara what is happening, but she doesn't answer and knocks him out of the sky. He crashes down in front of the Amazons. Believing that he is attacking them, a grief-stricken Diana orders the Amazons to attack Kal-El and the El's army rides out of the castle to protect him. Anissa creates an earthquake which breaks the El's charge and stops their advance. Luthor dives down out of the sky and starts indiscriminately killing all sides.
The Amazons and the Kingdom of Storms charge on the El's regrouping army, when suddenly Bruce flies into the battlefield riding Beast Boy in his dragon form. Beast Boy shoots down a jet of flame between the two armies, stalling the charge. Bruce orders both sides to stop, but when he sees Kal-El on the ground below he leaps down to confront him rather than take the opportunity to end the war decisively. Kal-El is confused when Bruce calls him "brother" and accuses him of trying to kill him. Lois, who is hiding nearby, overhears them and runs to where John is slumped against his wagon at the edge of the battlefield. She tells him that that they are all clearly being manipulated by somebody; he admits she is right and that nothing Lara is doing makes any sense.
Lara enters the dungeons of the castle and starts murdering the prisoners with her heat vision. Horrified, Oliver yells at Dinah to blast Lara. Dinah's scream knocks Lara away and blasts the doors off both their cells. Dinah then blasts through the other wall and they escape into the armoury on the other side. Oliver steals a crossbow and Dinah blasts through the external wall, where they see the three armies in a confused melee on the field outside. Lara chases after them and they attempt to escape through the battlefield, but a second Lara flies down out of the sky and tackles the other Lara to Earth.
The three armies stop fighting and for a moment stare in silent shock at the two Laras, when Alfred suddenly yells to use fire against her. Oliver lights a crossbow bolt and shoots the first Lara in the chest. She bursts into flames and transforms into a white-skinned monster. The creature pulls out the bolt and flies away. Kal-El and Zala chase after it, but it becomes invisible and disappears.
Back on the ground, Alfred says he didn't know "they" were on Earth. When Bruce asks him what he is talking about, Alfred changes into a green skinned creature, and tells him that the war he survived was not on Earth.
