Who has survived? Who remains to discover the one great truth...? Darkseid is.
Darkseid src

Darkseid is the eternal authoritarian leader of Apokolips, his rule spanning from long ago all the way until the end of time.

At some point, Darkseid came under the control of Starro, and battled a new iteration of the Justice League.[1]

In the 30th Century, he would be deposed by Pyrrhos, the son of Superman, who would ascend to the throne of Apokolips and claim to have killed the tyrant, although its unclear if that is actually true.[2]

Millenia later, Darkseid was one of the last beings in existence as a great, cosmic undoing began ending everything. After the destruction of New Genesis, Darkseid became the new Highfather of the New Gods. Leaving Apokolips to die, he journeyed to Earth, to see what remained of his greatest foes. He encountered Superman, Wonder Woman, and warriors of Themyscira. Doing battle with the heroes one final time, he easily overwhelmed them, killing the Amazons and dooming The Green in the process.[3] He was killed battling his ancient enemy Superman in the heart of the sun when the star went nova with them inside.[4]
