Darkstars #2 is an issue of the series Darkstars (Volume 1) with a cover date of November, 1992.

Synopsis for "Darkstar Rising"

Darkstar Colos finds the drug ring warehouse just in time to save Lieutenant Flint from falling to his death. The policeman, Darkstar Colos, and Mo Douglas join forces to bust the aliens holding the "Loco" drug. Colos grabs one of the offworlders and interrogates him, learning about the location of the drug's factory.

The three of them again crash into the factory and fend off against the aliens. Mister Pappas and the alien Daniki, the men behind the drug ring, turn tails and run away from the facility, activating some robot defenses to fight off the attackers. Darkstar and his companions work their way through the robots and destroy them, leaving the place for Flint's men to clean up.

After gaining his trust, Darkstar takes both Flint and Douglas to his spaceship, where he presents a mission report to Prigatz and gives the proper credit to his human companions. Pleased to hear about the results, Prigatz officially appoints Ferrin Colos as Earth's Darkstar.

Meanwhile, Carla Whita, the lawyer hired to defend Frank Pappas, learns that her client might not be as innocent as she thought.
