Synopsis for "Second Chances!"
Ferrin Colos, still shaken up by what he witnessed on Oa, keeps worrying about his friend John FLint's condition. Colos takes Flint to those who created the Annihilator procedure, the bio-technicians of Drezen Prime. Upon arrival, the Darkstars make their way to the creators of the Annihilator 171 and try to convince them to revert John's condition. Colos makes a deal with the Drezenites, who ask the Darkstars to protect them from the Thodians, representatives of a race who fell victim to the Annihilators and now want revenge. One by one, the Darkstars fall against the attackers, and the Thodians get ready to avenge their race.
On Oa, John Stewart discovers that his connection to the Guardians, as well as Frankie's power ring, has vanished. Suddenly, a Controller appears in front of him and asks John to come with him.
Meanwhile, the former Titan Donna Troy receives an offer to join the Darkstars.
